A linked organiser for a manufacturing event
This pack provides four CSV sheets: an event header, a material-lot record, an event and check log, and a deviation/release review record. The batch reference connects them. It is an administrative starting structure for an Ireland/EU, GB or NI workflow after the actual market and manufacturing scope have been reviewed. It is not a US manufacturing template, a recipe, an electronic signature system or an approved GMP procedure.
Prepare the controlled instructions first
Before using the blank sheets, identify the current product specification and master instruction. The business needs its own approved process, personnel responsibilities, checks, acceptance criteria and document-control arrangements. The organiser leaves those technical decisions empty.
For Ireland, consult the current manufacturing guide through the HPRA guidance directory. The GB guidance provides a separate government starting point. Northern Ireland should be scoped through its technical guidance, without assuming every GB conclusion transfers.
Use the blank sheets together
Create one event header for the batch. Put the same batch reference in each material, event and review row. Retain the product revision and master-instruction revision so that the record continues to identify the process used if either document changes later.
Record material identity and supplier lot separately. A document reference should identify the relevant file version. Enter actual observations and results rather than replacing them with a general completed marker. Use the check-method and acceptance-reference fields to identify the controlled basis of a check; do not invent limits to fill the sheet.
Record a deviation and its investigation reference when a question needs resolution. Keep the final authorised disposition separate from the fact that someone has completed the form.
Read the incomplete example
The synthetic pack follows SAMPLE-B01, fictional Product A revision 2 and master instruction MI-A revision 4. It includes fictional material and packaging lots. Quantities, processing conditions and acceptance criteria are deliberately absent.
An equipment-status reference is missing. The review sheet therefore contains an open question and a Hold, with no release authorisation. This is the point of the example: related sheets can make a gap visible without concealing it behind a filled-in record.
Preserve the record
The read-me file describes the role of each sheet and the linking fields. Your own procedure should govern access, corrections, retention, review authority and any signatures. Keep the resource version and original file with the working record. A CSV can help organise the information, but does not enforce those procedures by itself.
Q02 walks through the synthetic event. After using the blank pack for a real event, the next step is the appropriate manufacturing and quality review under the business's established process, with every unresolved issue carried forward to an owner.
